I’m Max Evanega, the founder of North Weddings. My journey into the wedding industry came from humble beginnings in 2013, as a dishwasher, at Red Maple Vineyard, and I’ve immersed myself in weddings ever since. I started photography in 2018, taking headshots for actors. While studying theatre and film at SUNY New Paltz, I managed the Theatre Department’s social media, produced video interviews, and captured behind-the-scenes moments from productions. This is where I got my start in visual storytelling.

In 2020, I filmed a wedding video for a friend as a favor and was hooked on the excitement of capturing weddings. Since then, I’ve brought the same dedication to storytelling in both wedding photography and videography. I’ve worked across many facets of the wedding industry, from bartending, serving, to behind the camera. I’ve also worked in marketing as a video editor, creating social media ads for some incredible brands.

When I’m not shooting weddings, you’ll find me skiing, snowboarding, playing tennis, or cheering on the Bills. I love spending time with my Golden Retriever, Beau, and my wife, Jill. We got married at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas. I’m also passionate about food photography and the artistry of a well-plated dish. For me, connection is everything—whether it’s with family, friends, or the couples I’m lucky to work with.

With his fun-loving personality and boundless energy, Trevor always finds his way to the heart of the action, never missing a moment. As the classic “life of the party” type, he’s the perfect guy to capture it all on video. Fun fact: Trevor was once a guest at a wedding Max photographed. Small world!
